Bosses[]

The main page probably shouldn't have a picture of every boss. Some of them are big spoilers, especially for people who are halfway through the game and just got stuck on one boss. An awsome person (talk) 18:18, 10 July 2020 (UTC)

I already removed the pictures on these two copies of the front page. If someone can just copy my edits to the real front page, that would be nice. An awsome person (talk) 17:14, 22 July 2020 (UTC)

If pictures of some bosses are removed, all bosses should be removed. An incomplete section would not be useful. Is there a more appropriate section to detail on the main page instead if we remove bosses? I agree with reducing spoilers on the front page, however this wiki is extremely full of spoilers as it is, and as such users are warned on this page. However maybe the warning should come earlier on the front page before its content.

The decision to include bosses is threefold:

  1. Bosses are a common section to include in the main page of adventure game wikis.
  2. Bosses are a large part of the game, more so than most metroidvanias. Konjak advertised the size, complexity, and number of bosses as a main feature of the game.
  3. A "characters" section was considered at one point, but the cast of Iconoclasts is too great to easily include on the main page. Which characters to include would be difficult to decide and highly subjective. Bosses seems to be the next most appropriate inclusion.

Other adventure game wiki main pages have a picture of one boss and a link to a list of all bosses. We can do that, or we can simply remove the section and not replace it with anything. An awsome person (talk) 18:24, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

According to the game's official Wikipedia, Iconoclasts was in development in 2010, meaning that Konjak worked on the game for eight years, not seven.Kizumess446 (talk) 19:48, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
